Lucid

Lucid

A Poem by W. V. H.
"

A Dream upon Waking

"

 Wake up

Tell me now,

Tell me how,

Tell me what,

Let's remember a star.

Swim in the ocean of sadness and dive to the depths of soul.

Only to find a mirror with a crack.

What would you do?

Would you look?

Are you sure, you want too?

Or would you run?

But what if you couldn't?

See the dancing fairies, they flicker in the candle light.

The moon is red and the stars are blue.

And the pain is to much to bare.

No more please.

Yet it continues, it pushes you to the limit and then rushing air.

It passes over every part of your body and your falling and free.

Then you hit so hard, your teeth rattle.

6:15 a.m....Time to get up sleepy head.
