"Friends"

It is funny how some things can make you happy
Especially those that you don’t expect
That simple text, the kind word, even just a wink or nod
Sometimes they will improve your day by leaps and bounds
I find it the strangest, though, how mean people can be
And how, more often than not it is those you are nice to
You could say kind things, and always encourage 
But they will just shoot you down and piss on your face
And sometimes not even realize it
Have you ever met someone like that?
Have you had a “friend” crush you before?
I’ve seen that a “friend” isn’t always what you expect
But for you, i hope they will be good.

The beginning, about the text and the nod or whatever, soooo reminds me of me and most teenage girls with crushes. xD It's a common thing apparently, haha.
