A Poem by Gianni Rodriguez
"

This is just a dark poem about the human lust to see others suffer after being hurt.

"

As you die

I comb my hands

through your hair.

Your misery smells so sweet.

I hunger for your despair.

You ask me how

I could never care,

even though you stuck

by my side

In my times of sorrow.

For me

you were always there.

Well my sorrows were fake

I never felt such misery

I faked such emotions

So that you

would pity me.

In all the pity

you let

down your guard.

Getting your trust was easy;

Breaking you

was not very hard.

You gave me your all.

You gave your

soul to the Devil,

and your heart

to a fraud.

So now you lie here

With these tears

in your eyes.

All I can do is chuckle

as you cry.

You were such

A fool to make

me your only lifeline.

For I have

left you for dead

so like my heart once did

yours could die.
