Growing Pains

Its hard to accept 

who you truly are 

its hard to see through 

all the new and old scars 

especially when 

the people you love

don't understand 

the person you become 

but love is love 

and if you can find it

hold on tight 

its rare in this life 

it only matters 

if you enjoy your life 

cause your the one who

has to sleep with it at night 

men, women, no binary too

it only matters

what you wanna do 

let them talk 

let them stare 

they'll never know 

whats its like to not compare 

im here to tell you

it gets better, in some ways 

if your not true to yourself 

you'll regret it someday 

take it from someone 

who hid very part 

of the person I was 

it'll affect your heart 

if you take one thing from this 

its love who you want 

and you'll never reminisce 

the things you could've done 

the person you could've been 

not being who your meant to be

is really the ultimate sin.
