Change

Things are changing 

I'm done constantly breaking 

no longer are the days 

doing nothing 

rotting away 

still struggling 

but with different problems 

always finding more 

right after you solve them 

I never thought I could forgive

but I did 

its a weight off my shoulders 

but I can never forget 

can never correct 

even when I grow older 

time does heal 

but it doesn't erase 

nothing can change it 

and it shows on your face 

I don't want to forget 

it made me who I am 

it made me see things in a way 

that Ill never understand
