Endless cycle

Endless cycle

A Poem by Lockedheart

Life is and endless cycle
trying to fix
whatever was broken
when you were 6

You supressed lots of memories
maybe you'll remember someday
thats when all your demons
will come out to play

Is remembering really even worth it
if it just hurts more
wondering if you ever deserved it

The cycle will stop someday
but for now
we must endure it someway.

Actually, the breakage can occur long before six, but I understand your choice of that age for the rhyme's sake. Possibly, as suggested, some things are best left unremembered due to the attendant pain. The last line makes the poem. If nothing else, we must endure.
