Lament to the Passing of the Moment

Lament to the Passing of the Moment

A Poem by Lorriman
"

... she faded like a photograph left to curl in the sun ...

"
I saw it coming

And

then it was right there;
in touching distance.

The

could've been
would've been
should've been

But

she faded
like a photograph
left to curl in the sun

The moment passed...

and then
she was gone

I saw it coming...
and she was gone...

---

the beginning and the end...yet there is more than meets the eye...in the middle...even with the expressive thoughts put in there...the missive...before the fall...the memories are never ancient history...but embedded there in the memory of your mind...

With each poem I read, you snare my vocation to read more...what a gift you have!

Thank you for your inspiration!
