I watch

as crimson red emotions bleed out.

This time, I endure.

I'm too callous to bother any resolve.

 

Hope arrives

in strength to fight familiar traps laid out through

careless words used as leverage-

a façade of courage;

where the tongue bullies

with poison.

Emotional scars can sometimes be worse then physical cause they seem to stay with you, sometime subconsciously... there are some out there that build up there esteem by trying to cut others down to size, your right the best solution is to walk away, cause if you let them get to you they win. Awesome work.

"This time, I endure." That's what I do...
It's easier to just endure than to protest and compound the agony. Unfortunately, the "bullies" (whomever they may be) learn that we won't protest and they become empowered.
It's not that we don't have the ability or the wherewithal to stand up to the bullies, it's just that no one should have to.
And then they wonder why some of us are so quiet? Why we prefer to spend our time online at the Writers Cafe... Oops, I'd better hush.
