Camouflaged Answer

A Poem by Lorraine Pearson
"

(Painstakingly I have prayed, asking for peaceoddly enough, I have learned the simple answer to what should have remained as a simple question)

Camouflaged Answer

Anywhere I am,

Every sense I possess,

Beholds nature’s truth:

To exist

Only in the moment

Peace;

Its always been here

For the taking…

Serenity,

A constant

Whispering presence

On the wind

As the trees rustle, and

Waters ripple,

Beauty surrounds…

In quiet resonance

All continues

As it has always been

Seemingly awaiting

My recognition

Reverently,

I rejoice

In a silent smile.

well, i guess this could be one of those pieces that different people could get different things from..
but for me, it seems obvious..
maybe i'm wrong, but this piece speaks to me about life..
people always asking the question about life itself..
i'm a big believer in positive energy and balance..
and to me this piece so eloquently expresses that all that you are searching for..
is right in front of you..

and that is why..
it is the camouflaged answer..

BRAVO!

This is amazing to me... just last week I visited the Smithsonian in DC where I saw the original painting of the picture you attached to this piece. I remember it vividly, it is stunning. But this piece is equally stunning in it's simple and natural beauty...

"Reverently,
I rejoice
In a silent smile."

There's nothing more to say except... amen!

A truly wonderful, eloquent expression of an important notion...one well worth pondering: peace is, and has always been, right there for the taking. My thinking about life may never be quite the same (in a good way) after having read your words.

Very eloquent poem... it's true though that we get so lost in this world and our busy lives we don't take time to enjoy the beauty nature has to offer and rejoice in it's miracles. Your words painted some very serene images in my head. makes me want to get away to the mountains.
