Black Hole

I empty myself

A chalice knocked over

Spilling out

Every thought

Every influence defining me

Discovering

Aloneness

I am an island

I weep

In my silence

Awareness heightens.

My realization:

Security arrives

As I embrace the void.

I always appreciate the way writers form there words for the page. Sadly I am often in such a rush to post my thoughts that I do not take the time for the artistry that such requires. I do enjoy it in others however, it shows a lot of pride in one's work.

I must admit I am not in a place right now to embrace sorrow. I suppose I was under such a cloud prior to my divorce that all I seek now is moving from one joyful moment to the next. I do agree that embracing the void is the only way through the void, especially when we cannot shape the void.

It is comforting reflection to know that others find ways of coping with complications by embracing challenge instead of avoiding it.

Excellently well written, I enjoyed the read.
