Didn't you know

That the one thing

I've wanted to say…

Is the one thing

The tears pouring

Off of my cheeks…

Have been crying

Out loud to you

Screaming for days?

 

You say that you listen

You say that you hear

You say Im not wasting

One single word…

 

Wouldn't you show

That the one thing

You've promised to be…

Is the one thing

The words coming

Out of your mouth

Would connect with

All that you do

When you're with me?

 

Its breaking my heart to stay

Its broken my heart when  I go

The things that I need

You keep saying you'll give

But instead all we do

Is repeat what we've known…
