Mystery in the MudA Poem by Lorraine PearsonInspired by the lifestory of Tina TurnerMystery in the Mud By: Lorraine Pearson July 6, 2007 Endless tension amidst the peace A mystery in the mud. "Behold" Heavy darkness. Still she pushes through. Behold her beauty. Miles of sludge Plodding up and out Of relentless pressure Dancing with sabotage In natural intuition Driven inspiration. Seeking a beginning Heaving upwards- (Distant whispers of promise still audible) "Behold" Weighing downward. (Despite the amplified screams weakening the will.) "Behold" A league of her own None other dare compare The beauty of the lotus.
