Shadows Are FrighteningA Poem by Lorne BlaineShadows are frightening for Darkness shrouds them. The eye cannot discern them nor The soul feel them.
But their darknesses are so trivial When looking from where they stem: The sun, and from that nice reminder Is a most relieving revelation:
'I know they walk the same path as I And are as I, alone, And I know that their darknesses inside Are just as dark as my own.' © 2017 Lorne Blaine |
