Dad

I wrote this Dec 02 just after my dad passed away to put into his coffin as a goodbye message.

Trying to say the words

That were lost when you were here

Sitting here alone

As l shed another tear

I never got the chance

To say goodbye to you

To tell you all the things

That you had never knew

Your pain has gone away

Like the night turns into day

Your'e watching over me

Like you will always be

And the pain thats in me heart

Comes because we are apart

The past will always be

Inside my memories

I know one thing is true 

That l'll always love you
