Your VoiceA Poem by Loribeth215Sometimes, it's not the words, but how you say them.....your voice has the same timbre I remember that little pause, a breath, when I speak your name.
holding the phone tighter, I remember how you used to look when that word crossed your lips
I said something polite, a rush of words...
who knows what they were?
My heart was wandering somewhere in the past remmebering the tenderness of your voice. © 2008 Loribeth215Reviews
