Depression

The emptiness has grown the size of a great lake,

water eating away at the shore.

I am shrinking in inverse proportion.

I cannot remember the days of laughter.

My mind is paralyzed by fear.

I no longer serve a purpose in my own life.

I have become the living dead.

You have created a sharp image of a condition that overpowers people. Good write.

I truly understand this very write. I seen my ground ripped many times years back. It's a hard road to see for anyone.
