Dark Day

Dark Day

A Poem by Lori Brown Boniciolli
"

Weather - Fall

"
                                                              Dark Day

                                                  Outside, it is gray again.

                                                  The grounded leaves are rotting,

and naked trees knife the pregnant sky.
                                                  The wind roars warning,

stirring the heart of the wounded wood
                                                  which cannot be revived.

Sharp personification here. This humanizes nature herself in a vivid way. I like the imagery.

Thanks for reading it.

Sincerely

Dark, and nicely written. The descriptions are drawn with a perfect-sharp nib. Vivid and weighty writing.

Well done.
