Like Butterflies

Like Butterflies

A Poem by Lori

be not afraid
death is not an end
be not afraid
let the  journey begin
the caterpillar turns into a butterfly
it's not over when we die
be not afraid of dying
or you shall never live
cleanse your heart of all your hate
it's what we give
not what we take
be not afraid of life and death
we all must take that final breath
into the light of which we came
no two journeys are the same
into the light of which we came
no more sorrow
no more pain
