Tango with A MonsterA Poem by Lorenaread this poem with this song as a background https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CqkeOfu-NF4I’m dancing tango with a monster disguised as a man He’s leaking sweat, his eyes shine black, his face is tan This is indeed a foggy hot-aired place My red lipstick left a mark on his face His arms are firmly wrapped around my waste The monster inside of him let me taste The sweet aggression in his eyes fixed to mine His lips are gold; he breathes fire and wine As my waste twirls like a fitting key That opens the door to the monster inside of me He pushes me down to the angle before my death Then he pulls me up right before my last breath The trumpets scream as I run to his arms The arms of a criminal that mean no harm The devil in his grip tastes bittersweet I step on his toe revealing deceit He becomes agonized; there is fire in his blood His pushing me backwards feels like drowning in a flood He keeps on stomping until I smash to the wall His violent movements make me feel so small So I kick my red heel right above his shoulder He feels my power, his anger very smoldered I am the tiger, I feed my cubs, I keep the hearth warm He senses my ravishing lightening starting a storm The storm is strong, the floor’s wet with sweat His eyes kill me with hatred, love, and regret I’m dying for he
chokes me with swirls As I dizzily rotate, I abandon my world He has won, he’s taking full control and power He’s making guns and knives out of a flower I have danced my first and last dance with the vicious beast He has murdered my
body; I am now his victorious feast © 2014 LorenaAuthor's Note
