I sought after peace…you turned my world upside down…

Where I only saw black and grey you repainted 

With colors I could not begin to imagine…

My hands were empty….

You took them in yours…

They were empty no longer …

You held me in my brokenness…

You stood with me in shadows…

The sun to my moon…

Spring to my winter…

Your soul my soul’s mirror…

Our hearts a perfect fit…

Is it possible 

To find love and friendship 

Within the same person?

I can say with certainty it is…

Here you are in this moment

My partner….my lover…my best friend…
