A Raven sits outside the door

A Raven sits outside the door
waiting watching evermore
is it waiting for someone like me
could it know when my time shall be
will it be there when I wake
did it come my soul to take
will it carry me home
nevermore to roam
will it steal my soul away
will I live to see another day
is it waiting there today
to take my soul or will it fly away
