Chase

Yesterday started out as something different

It was bright and sunny before you went

A shadow crept up and took that away

And I don’t know why it is still here today

Today is all in a nightmare, it seems

You’ve walked away and are lost in a dream

Trapped and held there and now you can’t get out

Your mind and your heart is filled with doubt

Tomorrow doesn’t hold all that much hope

But we’ll get you out, we’ll dig and we’ll grope

For the steps that will take us away from this place

And when you run away again, again will I chase
