Wishing that we’d never met

I'm wondering if you have any poems that I will not completely relate too. A year ago was the ending of an almost seven year relationship with someone I adored and yet I always knew, knew right from the start that one day they would no longer be around. I have no regrets, I would never wish to erase those years. I just knew on my sixth year anniversary that we would not make it to the seventh. I am healed now, I have a terrible crush and in my heart I know you will heal too.

I enjoyed the repetiion and evolution of process thinking in this poem. My favorite part if this poem is the following stanza: Take your time to learn

I think it both a sad thing to see love end but an experience that makes us all human and gives depth to the soul
