Cheating and its aftershock

Cheating and its aftershock

A Poem by LoperForLife

A flash of seductive green against a weak toned tan,
A dash of deep red hatred against a willing faded pink,
A flicker of muddy blue water from it's drowning victim to it's gasping captive,
An ironed slab of dirty gold whisking away with a melody of burning speech,
A tall silhouette dancing behind without a single glance back,
The drowning victim being dragged by invisible chains deeper into the water,
it watches the captive being lured away by green envious chains,
the victim later ventures home to a cool steel blade,
and drowns again in a red bloody depression,
with black cyclones of hate,
and swamp green bites of envy,
and faded pink streaks of love,
and finally,
it all fades away into a crushing bleak gray void of anything.
