I'm drawing a blank...

Quick poem

I'm drawing a blank

I'm trying to think

What is this around me,

Should I be stepping out

But I'm filled with doubt

Why can't it just be easy

Time is pressing me to choose

Either way there's someone precious to lose,

I want to please them all

But that's too heavy to carry over this wall

Freedom to speak

Don't come off weak,

I feel fear retreat

But it's bittersweet,

With this choice I have to try

Time to surrender my loaded die
