UntitledA Poem by J. A. LuceroI wrote this for my dad on father's day, just thought I'd share it.
Planted by the hand
nurtured in the ground with no chaos known just a faithful, rhythmic sound. A boy cut through the stem Petals still clean and crisp tastes the death of the world choked by the obscene. Pruned by the hand refreshed in the vase with no water needed just an unconditioned, loving embrace. A boy watered with wisdom stem made green and steadfast spreads an aroma of sweet benevolence an impression meant to last. Planted by the boy nurtured in the ground with a prodigious example a passion for truth and righteousness will abound.
