Black and Blue

Black and Blue

A Poem by Lookwithinsight

I know what’s right for me.

I should take it.

I know I’ll never be without temptation.

If that’s not the worst ache then,

I don’t know what is.

I bite my tongue until I taste blood.

You feel a lot like love.

I know, I should feel it too.

Somethings holding me back,

it’s turning me black and blue.
