Friendzone

Friendzone

A Poem by Lookwithinsight
"

I hate this concept so much.

"

The friend zone is not the end zone.

It’s just a trend zone.

The real danger zone,

is the stranger zone.

If you’re in there,
you’re all alone.

So you’re not somebody’s endgame?
Their unrequited feelings are to blame.
To the issue, there’s nothing about you that
pertains.
No need to slam someone’s name.

The friend zone is not the end zone.
It’s the begin zone, of a crazy party.
A supersonic and platonic rave.

haha, I loved this. I too believe friends are what matter, it's the strangers that worry me; anyone that wants to jump right into a relationship without first being friends is a bit foolish. Your hook-line was beautiful as well as the conclusion. "A supersonic and platonic rave," I adored that.

I like this a lot! I also think the concept of friend zone is kind of ridiculous. And I love the last two lines if someone doesn't like you in the way you like them it's not the end of everything it's just the chance to start something new!
