Eventually

Eventually

A Poem by Lookwithinsight

My mind concocts a variety of solutions.
The thing you find most hindering is my lack of contribution.
Yes, I speak in codes, riddles, and things that don’t make sense.
I’m a half mute shadow sitting on a rotted fence.
I’ve gotta say the view from here makes it hard to read your hints.
Though in your absence I’ve a knack for creating things that don’t exist.
I think I should lean back a little more, so I can land on the mat of yesterday’s door.
A wave of rationality slams me into my cold, dark reality.
I stare at the ground below my feet, knowing I’ll have to move forth eventually.

I enjoyed reading this, particularly liked I'm a half mute shadow sitting on a rotted fence. Very descriptive. Thanks for sharing

This is definitely one of my favorites so far.
You have a great way of describing how you are feeling without directly stating so,
I also thought structurally this poem was very well put together. Keep it up Kimberlee.
