Let Me BeA Poem by LookwithinsightNoticing you're on a downward spiral, but not wanting help. From the weakest crease in me, the darkness starts to seep. From the weakest piece of me, there’s another mouth to feed. I can’t believe a girl like me birthed such twisted entities. Another crease is another need. Another fear whispers to my ear, "You’ve gotta bleed, or feel nothing." So the darkness seeps, little blots of ink. Give me time to think, while I’m on the brink of nothing. Little blots of ink, coveting my covering. The ignorance is ecstasy. Why won’t you just let me be?© 2014 LookwithinsightReviews
