A Poem by Leanne Estelle
"

A poem I wrote a few months ago while I was taking my GCSE's

"

Clocks tick, minds churn

Pens scratch and pages turn

Butterflies flying, sweat dripping

Some are boring and some are gripping

Clocks tick, the tension heightened

I stare at my classmates bewildered and frightened

“Eyes in front of you!” the teacher screams

If I fail this I will fail my dreams.

Clocks tick, now I'm crying;

Some are stuck and some are flying

As we write we shake and stutter

Nerves taking hold; our hearts’ all a flutter.

The clocks stop.

Eyes upon teacher "

With all the lectures she’s more like a preacher

A brown envelope will decide our fate

The clocks tick as our futures’ wait…

plenty will relate to this. I certainly do. well minus the crying. boys don't cry, see?
so well written that it transported me back in time and truly made me feel I was sitting there for that darned exam.

My number one passion is writing; there is nothing I love more is this world. My pen is my best friend for it knows me better than I know myself sometimes, whenever I don't know how to express my feel.. more..
