The fairytale life

The fairytale life

A Poem by Leanne Estelle
"

There is only one story greater than a fairytale and the name of that story is your life.

"

I wish I lived in a fairytale; I'd rescue fellow damsels in distress

I wish I was a princess who wore a crown and gorgeous dress

I wish I could spin thread into solid gold

I wish I was a witch who had the power to never grow old.

I wish I could talk to animals and they could talk back

I wish I could see the beanstalk climbed by the famous Jack

I wish I could live in a shoe and always speak in a rhyming tongue

I wish I could meet ogres who often eat their young.

I wish I could sail with a pirate who has a hook for a hand

I wish I could have adventure and a life that's never bland

I wish I could meet knights and challenge them to a duel

I wish I could attend a dragon-sleighing school.

I wish I could see fairies and unicorns galore

I wish I could meet mermaids and oh so much more

I wish I could summon birds with the power of my song

I wish magic could fix everything that is wrong.

My number one passion is writing; there is nothing I love more is this world. My pen is my best friend for it knows me better than I know myself sometimes, whenever I don't know how to express my feel.. more..
