A Poem by Emily

Do you see that quiet girl in the park,
The one hiding behind her camera?
Do you notice that girl sitting in the back of the coffee shop reading?
Because she sees everything,
You see she's there just waiting,
waiting to be needed.
Waiting to lend an ear to someone who needs a to talk.
She walks the parks taking pictures,
Keeping an eye out for mothers hoping to capture a special moment with there little ones.
My heart is powered on empathy.
I live and breath it,
There is no better feeling than hearing someone say, Thanks I really needed someone to talk to.
Or better yet a mother in tears thanking me for taking time to get some pictures of her and her kids.
Life is beautiful when we take the time to realize it and notice what's around us.

To anyone reading this: Do something for someone today, compliment a stranger on there outfit, just do something to put a smile on someone else's face.
