Time capsuleA Poem by EmilyLove, fantasy
Her heart flutters as she pulls out her pen and paper,
She wants so badly to be thrown in a time capsule, Taken back to the old days of pen and paper, The days of checking the mailbox waiting for a letter. Life seems so easy now, We send a quick text if we want to talk to someone and usually we get a simple response. I want to sit down and put the time and effort into a letter, To wait and wonder when I’ll get a response back from the one I love. I want to take the time to grow with a person. To learn who they are and what they want and desire in life. I want to be courted, Not treated like I’m the weird one for not putting out. I wanna know a man loves me for my heart and is willing to wait. Someone find this girl a time capsule. © 2021 Emily |
