I was broken before you

I was nothing before you came into my life, 

I was a broken girl, a girl who didn't even love herself. 

You opened me up inside to something I never knew. 

A feeling so special and sweet. 

You chose to love me for me, 

A sick girl who has been through more then one can handle. 

A girl who lost her dad at a young age and feels let down by the men in her life. 

You keep me going on my hard days. 

The reason I smile is because of you. 

My heart races when I hear your voice. 

It flutters when you put your arms around me. 

I want to grab you and pull you close and stare into your eyes. 

I want to tell you I can't live this life without you, 

But I know that is selfish and not true. 

If I had to I could live without you, 

But that's the last thing I want. 

I want you, 

I want you to be mine, 

I want your heart to skip a beat the way mine does when I hear from you. 

I want to know what runs through your beautiful mind. 

Do I run through your mind? Does this even have a chance of going anywhere?

I think it does, I hope it does, 

Time will only tell.
