My heart

New to writing, trying to write a little bit everyday, don't be too harsh ;)

I look out at the clear blue sky, listening to music journal in hand, 

My words come out all mushed together, my feelings are all over the board

My heart tells me I need you, but its also telling me I'm not good enough to be yours

Not good enough to meet the expectations of a woman you should want, a woman you need. 

I want you to love yourself as much as I love you. 

I want you to see yourself through my eyes, 

To see yourself as the amazing man you are, 

The man I've grown to fall in love with. 

This has all moved so quickly, so effortlessly. 

Like we were always meant to be, we both just got lost along the way and are now finding each other. 

Whether we move forward with this or remain best friends I need you to know you showed me what love is.
