Curtains

Curtains

A Poem by Lonesome Traveler

As silly as it may seem
I will write about something
That would only dress as a seam
And seldom talked about, nothing

What are curtains?
They are the ones that hide
The very significance of your life
And never show it back to you

They are the ones who cover your light
And bring shadows to your soul
They do provide protection
But to only what you fear.

But behind the curtains, there're windows
A shine of light of the universe
A wind calling out to reach,
But the curtains stop them

What do you do with your curtains?
