The Beauty of Majesty

The Beauty of Majesty

A Poem by Lonesome Traveler

I know that I am unattractive
Unprogressive, and unseductive
I may be truly ugly to your eyes
And that is what I truly demise

Ever since I was small
I have dreamed it all
What I am, what I could be
That could really bring me to serenity

But the thing was I was destroyed
She took away my freedom as  she employed
That dark soul that she gave me
From that day I was never free

Look at me now and see what happened
My face and body… I can't comprehend
What really happened when I was small
The way she took it all away and made it dull

Here comes the time when I saw you
A majestic goddess, beauty so true
So lenient in her way of words
Writing it down, like sweet lovebirds

When I  met you I was surprised
You didn't return my simple "Hi"
That's when rejection was felt
What my actions and features had delt

But soon you came to realize
I had beauty through my eyes
It's the lovely messages I write for you
And since then my heart, you sew

I may be unattractive through your eyes
But through that you saw my disguise
I am what I am, what I really could be
And from that, my heart was set free
