[Both Ends of the World] PART 1: The Majestic LifeA Poem by Lonesome TravelerPart one of the whole series called "Both Ends of the world"
A lonely peasant in a distant place
Working silently in a slow pace He is shy but hardworking He is meek and not demanding His family works hard for food To get his family in to the mood Even though poor they may be When together, they are always happy A majestic princess living far away Being pampered, she lives in dismay She wants to show what she can do And show her feelings that's so true She, trapped in the castle, is gloomy But still everybody she could see Every singles and couples alike And the lonely peasant she says she likes Everyday she looks out her window Curling her hair, So clean and slow She always searches for the peasant She looks and looks, but now she can't Now she worries about the peasant in field With this thought, around she wheeled* Passing by every stall and store She keeps looking for him, without feeling bore But sadly, as dawn comes near She's sad she can't find her dear So she demanded to be sent home In her carriage made out of chrome But in one alley she heard a faint shout And she saw the soldiers come out Worriedly, she rushes through the guards At the end, she saw a body full of shards Carefully she looks at the face After, she faints without grace It was the peasant lying on the ground So silent, he doesn't make a sound
