Change

Change

A Poem by Lonesome Traveler

 Slowly as we drift apart

Am I having a change of heart?

When loyalty asks the question

"What will be your position?"

"Have you chosen the path you like

when you a riding your speedy bike?"

The time that question I faced

Suddenly, I feel like I'm losing the race

Which path to chose, I would think

That won't be answered in a blink

It's hard enough to chose what's right

Unless you are given bright light

Sadly, the truth has been said

And this I can't take to bed

I may have that change of heart

and in life, make a new start.

Don't worry. You could compromise grammar in doing poetry anyway and that's justified according to your intentions. :)
Pretty traditional in form, rhythm and rhyme. The message is clear to the point, but there's something in your poem that begs to be tweaked a little more to make it your piece a little more interesting.
