To kill a bond

To kill a bond

A Poem by lonely zephyr

Now, after all is said and done
Distant prints of friendship, fading
Bonds unraveled, contact is shun
Left with tainted memories of serenading

We abandon eons of good memories
From a radiant warm
To our empty worries
At least, we're already past the storm

Yet those memories will stay with us
Whether that's good - or bad
Our shared rose is now poisonous
Or atleast the one we once had

For us to throw away such a great bond, as if it were nothing,

Perhaps it's justified that we should not coexist.
