Money

Money

A Poem by lonely zephyr

Silly paper,

If we don't have you, we're squanderers
If we have too much of you, we're lavish
If we don't share you, we're selfish
If we give you away, we're generously foolish

You can help us make our potential it's fullest
Or you can be absolutely ruthless
Thousands of hands passing you around
Circling the earth, round and round
They call you money, legal tender
But to me you are just

Silly paper.
