Somber

Somber

A Poem by lonely zephyr
"

I made this back when I was afraid of the dark.

"
Nothing is to be seen,
But the end of twilight,
Crunching into a ball,
Praying for my forsaken sunlight.

But why am I afraid,
Shaking in fear and apprehension?
"Darkness offers nothing but a shade"
Reminding myself to cure my tension

Then comes tomorrow,
My fear is forgotten for now,
Shrouded under this daylight, birds adorning,
Singing their theme - "Good morning!"

I loved the use of words in this, normally people tend to use really simple words. Great job!

Yeah it's mostly because we can't see anything so our minds take over and scare us haha
