What's Next Today?

What's Next Today?

A Poem by LonelySoul

even tho,yes I pray,

I'm afraid to ask what's next today,

God can't feel my tears or pain,

he's to busy trying to make it rain,

nobody knows what I've gone through,

not my sister or brother, not even you,

for if you did you'd understand,

why I walk alone across this land,

forever in search of my one true heart,

to help me stand and make a new start,

to share with me a sunsets glory,

and listen to my old and forgotten story...

so even tho,yes I pray,

I'm afraid to ask "What's Next Today"?

I like this. God is big enough to understand your inner conflicts with believing in Him yet being disappointed with the way your life has turned out, and at times doubting if he is personally vested in your welfare. I for one, believe he is.....but there are no quick fixes or formulas to the pain we sometimes experience in this life. I have heard an analogy that our life is like a needlework, all these ugly knots on the underside, with no discernible pattern. That is how I think of this life, we don't get the full picture until we flip it over (on the other side) and see the beautiful flower all dressed in vibrant hues of various threads.

Really good read! :) Just remember tht God is there, for each and everyone of us, and we just have to listen to him, and follow his plan!
