Golden Eyes

Golden Eyes

A Poem by LonelySoul

I'm sorry if I made you mad,I didn't mean to cramp your style,

I thought I saw your eyes were sad,so I had to see your smile...

You said you wanted Love,so I gave my tender seed,

Then I prayed to God above that I could give all you'd need...

I had to respect your wish, you had to have your space,

I sat in hope of another kiss and to see your smiling face...

I'll always wonder what could have been, guess I'll never know,

Love may come in many forms,if given a chance to grow...

I've traveled far and done alot, now I'm old and wise,

My dreams will guide my lonely search for the Girl with the Golden Eyes...
