My Lonely Own

My Lonely Own

A Poem by LonelySoul

Sometimes life can get so stressed,

Sometimes my life is such a mess,

Then I lost my only home,

I found myself on my Lonely Own...

So alone in this Cold Cruel World,

I knew I needed to find a girl,

One to melt my Heart of Stone,

to Build My Dreams and Make a Home,

but it didn't work, now I'm alone,

Again,I found myself on my Lonely Own...

I reached out to Friends and Family,

What in the world will become of me?

All I need is a Helping Hand,

to Rebuild my life and Make a New Stand,

Some can't help,Some won't hear,

Some hide behind their doors in fear,

I can't survive this world alone,

but I keep finding myself on my Lonely Own...

I'm not bad,just a Broken Old Guy,

but now and then I have to ask,Why?

I've asked my questions on Bended Knee,

Laughter Echos through Whispering Trees,

Again I'm searching my Heart of Stone,

I keep finding myself on my Lonely Own...

I love the repeating phrase Lonely Own. This poem makes me sad that someone would feel this way. Being alone is not an easy task.
