ConfessionsA Poem by Lonely PoetWhen it doesn't work out and all you wish you could do is try again...
Behold I show you my tears,
Within them are my greatest fears. Weakness has bled into my life, During love I beheld only strife. Can you forgive me younger one, May we repair what's become undone? Together our lives mingled but quickly withered, Stuck together as our hearts quivered. Lost and alone you began and ended, Through the pain you defended. Likewise I was lost but not forgiven, I deserved the pain I was given. Behold I show you a sad man, Within him is me and it is he that I am. Bleed as many apologies as I may, Nothing will save me on this day. Goodnight my lovely Dragonfaun, Today I'll do no better and so I've withdrawn. Please forgive me for my transgressions, Behold and hear these confessions. © 2015 Lonely PoetReviews
