Rest

Rest

A Poem by Lola_Bee

Crashing down.

I fall to the ground.

drowning, swallowing, hollowing.

unbecoming

The shape of me permeating, fading, waning,

How many words can describe a soul cracking?

Infinitely bare, nothing in there

Nothing more to spare

I cry but all tears dry,

Immersed in dust,

So so heavy no words can explain

all this rust

I dare not mention and feel the pain.

Sad why?

Upset why?

Cry why?

I scream inside, enough for all that lives within to hear

No more voice, every sound that comes out shatters

For all the world no longer matters

Wrap me as I curl, close my eyes, lay my head against your chest,

all I need to feel is rest…

Many seek easy ending and I believe. No easy ending. We will pay here or there. Thank you for sharing the amazing poetry.
