AliveA Poem by Lola_BeeLike a magnet
puling with all its strength Always hurts
as it tugs and pulls away Where ever I
intend to belong it’s never where I end up It’s always
where I used to be but not where I ought to be Misplaced in
a carefully plotted route Like pins on
a map carefully tracing the way Each step I
take is a step placed before me Like mold imprinted
in time before existence Through the
storms of the darkest seas Following the
cycle of the hurricane As it takes
me through this atlas Swirling,
collecting debris of memories, voices and shadows on the way A whirlwind
of tranquillity before turbulence hits again As I let go
and let the wind carry my soul as it culminates I see it now
my final destination, Finally my
compass has reached its north The light
peeks through the sky which is torn
This is where
I’m meant to be as I am born © 2016 Lola_Bee |
