A leap of Faith

A leap of Faith

A Poem by Lola_Bee
"

just a quick jot down, no rhyming or thought out

"

We all hold in the depth of our core

That one single cryptic unadmitted secret

Something so unbecomingly raw

If revealed not a soul shall see it fit

How deeply sheltered we are

To believe that another shall judge

Softly unshielding each layer of distrust

The veil of doubt lifted as on a wedding day

Yet deeply symbolic

when you find that person

whom is a reflection of yourself

with such conviction, he sees through the most bare

and accepts with faith your entirety

Allow your uncertainty to drift away in the wind of faith

I came away with a different take in reading your piece.

Faith can be many things, not only having to do with religious connotations. Faith can be a form of acceptance of another person, of a degree of (ultimate) trust in someone who, in turn, places unconditional faith in you.
This is what writers do - present things that are open to differing interpretations, all of which are relevant, which obviously you've done with this piece.

Faith is so important, more important then we know!
I agree with Wordman's review, that statement is so true,
faith alone in Christ alone, gets us home! Thanks for sharing and b-blessed!

The mystery of faith hope and love shine throughout your poem Like the sun in the mid summer's sky. Of the innocent of a child at play. The faith that love brings to the wedding day. Charming and clear this poem is heart felt from the start till the last stanza stated simple and clear faith.

Im sure its great!
"with such conviction, he sees through the most bare
and accepts with faith your entirety"

That is such a beautiful statement. For me it captures completely that moment of commitment to someone. When they look at you, with all your faults and insecurities and make that one single step of accepting you - not knowing what the future will hold. Lovely.

thank you Kate, your comment is so welcomed and appreciated
That's very deep and personal. Our inner doubts and insecurities can lead us to fear trying new things or it can teach us more about ourselves and make us stronger. Thank you for sharing that with me.
